David has been working in the remodeling and construction industries in the Chicago area since 1970. In 1986 David and his wife, Renata, started their own remodeling company. They merged with Renata’s brother, Nick Peters, to become Callahan & Peters, Inc. in 1998.

As a Certified Remodeler through the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), David has been an active member holding various board and leadership positions throughout the years. With over 50 years of experience in the building trades, it would be difficult to find something that David has not seen or solved before. His vast industry knowledge and expertise help guide the company and advise clients.

"Remodeling is fun!" He lives by this reminder to homeowners to hold on to the excitement throughout the process.

David enjoys being active outdoors, especially bike riding, kayaking, and scuba diving.
